Are you a senior solicitor or partner-level lawyer with strong experience in healthcare regulatory law? I'm working exclusively with a leading national law firm to recruit for a key hire within their highly regarded Healthcare Regulatory team, based in Manchester.
This is a strategic role offering the chance to join a top-tier firm with a well-established reputation in the health and social care sectors. The Role:
You'll be advising a broad spectrum of healthcare clients including NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, insurers, and regulatory bodies. Typical matters include:
- CQC inspections and enforcement
- Public inquiries and inquests
- Professional discipline and fitness to practise
- Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act advice
- Safeguarding, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance
Depending on your experience, you'll either lead on complex matters or oversee a small team, contribute to business development, and help shape the strategic direction of the regulatory practice.
What We're Looking For:
- UK qualified Solicitor or Partner with strong healthcare regulatory expertise
- Proven track record advising public and/or private health sector clients
- Excellent technical skills, with strong advocacy or investigation experience
- An interest in team leadership, supervision, and/or developing a following
- Experience in handling sensitive, high-profile matters is highly desirable
