Our client, a well-established Legal 500 law firm in Hertfordshire, is seeking an experienced Trust Manager to join their Private Client team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a reputable firm on a varied portfolio of trusts
The Role:
- You will manage a diverse range of trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and tax requirements and providing clear advice to stakeholders. Collaboration with the Private Client team on estate planning and related matters is a key aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administering trusts, including discretionary, life interest, and charitable trusts.
- Preparing trust accounts, tax returns, and compliance documentation.
- Liaising with beneficiaries and trustees.
- Assisting with estate planning.
- Keeping updated on changes in trust law and taxation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience
- STEP qualification (or working towards) preferred
- Strong knowledge of trust and estate taxation
