We are instructed by a highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Hertfordshire to identify an accomplished Senior Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (10+ years PQE) to join their well-established and respected Private Client department

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned practitioner to take on a senior role within a firm known for its commitment to legal excellence, client care, and professional development

Our client is a leading Legal 500 practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to a longstanding and loyal client base, including high-net-worth individuals and families. The firm offers a collaborative and modern working environment, with a flexible hybrid structure and a clear path for senior progression

The Role

The successful candidate will undertake a broad and complex caseload encompassing:

• Wills and Estate Planning
• Probate and Estate Administration
• Trust Creation and Administration
• Inheritance Tax Planning and Succession Structuring
• Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work

You will also play a pivotal role in mentoring junior colleagues, supporting strategic departmental objectives, and contributing to the firm\’s ongoing business development efforts

Key Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 10 years’ PQE in Private Client law
• STEP qualification (or working towards) strongly preferred
• Demonstrable expertise in advising high-net-worth individuals and families
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage complex matters independently
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client relationship management and practice development
