Austen & Blake is a premium jewellery brand offering bespoke and made-to-order engagement rings, wedding rings and fine jewellery. Known for its design expertise, personal consultations and craftsmanship, Austen & Blake serves customers through a combination of digital touchpoints and physical showrooms. This role is dedicated exclusively to the Austen & Blake brand.
The Social Media Manager owns how Austen & Blake shows up across social platforms, translating our bespoke, experience-led jewellery brand into compelling, consistent and high-performing social storytelling. This is a hands-on, creative and commercially aware role. You will take full ownership of social strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn, ensuring our content reflects the emotion, craftsmanship and personal nature of the Austen & Blake experience.
Social is a critical brand and demand channel for Austen & Blake. This role exists to elevate brand desirability, grow engaged communities, and connect customers to our showrooms, craftsmanship and life-moment storytelling, not simply to post content. You will work closely with brand, creative, retail and workshop teams to ensure social media authentically represents who we are, how we work, and why customers choose Austen & Blake for some of the most important moments of their lives.
Authority & scope
- Full ownership of the Austen & Blake social media strategy and day-to-day execution
- Accountability for content quality, brand consistency, engagement and audience growth
- Authority to test, learn and optimise content formats, platforms and paid social activity
- Responsibility for ensuring social aligns to brand positioning, tone of voice and experience standards
- A key contributor to the brand’s digital and experience-led marketing strategy
Direct ownership
- Austen & Blake social media channels and content calendar
- Community management and social engagement
- Influencer partnerships, gifting and collaborations
- Paid social planning, execution and optimisation
This role owns social execution and performance. Brand leadership sets direction, standards and priorities.
How you'll contribute
- Develop and own the Austen & Blake social media strategy aligned to brand and commercial objectives
- Plan and manage the social content calendar, ensuring a consistent and elevated brand narrative
- Lead day-to-day execution including publishing, scheduling, and community engagement
- Ensure all content reflects the premium, bespoke and experience-led nature of the brand
Content & storytelling
- Create and deliver high-quality content that brings to life craftsmanship, design, life moments and in-store experience
- Work with creative teams to develop visually compelling, on-brand content
- Capture and curate content from showrooms, workshops and events
- Develop educational and behind-the-scenes content that builds trust and authority
Community, partnerships & influence
- Build and nurture an engaged Austen & Blake social community
- Manage influencer gifting, partnerships and collaborations aligned to brand values
- Monitor social sentiment and actively manage customer interaction and feedback
Paid social & performance
- Plan, execute and optimise paid social activity across Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Track performance, engagement and growth, sharing insights and recommendations
- Use testing and iteration to continuously improve content effectiveness
- Conduct social listening and trend analysis
- Feed customer and community insights into wider brand, retail and marketing teams
- Stay close to emerging platforms, formats and cultural moments relevant to the brand

What we’re looking for
- 3+ years’ experience managing social media for a brand or agency
- Proven experience delivering content and campaigns across multiple platforms
- Experience working with paid social and performance reporting
- Background in luxury, fashion, jewellery or premium consumer brands preferred
- Strong creative instinct with a sharp eye for detail and brand consistency
- Hands-on, organised and comfortable owning execution end-to-end
- Confident communicator who collaborates well across teams
- Commercially aware, with a test-and-learn mindset
- Customer-obsessed, with high personal standards
