Seeking Grounds Maintenance staff to maintain the buildings and facilities of a defence base located in Derby, WA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mowing and slashing of large, grassed areas across the base including runway perimeter, as well as shrub maintenance and minor landscaping work.
- General Labouring of grounds.
- Weed control and vegetation management across base facilities and perimeter areas.
- Waste & Environmental tasks such as bin management, recycling and Hazardous waste coordination.
- Operate tractor and grounds maintenance equipment safely and in accordance with WHS procedures.
Skills and Attributes:
- Tractor license – company will train
- Health and safety Knowledge or a certificate in WHS
- White Card preferred
- Experience in driving tractors
- Current C Driver’s License
- Australian Citizen
- Clear police check
