About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Senior Tester / QA Engineer who wants to develop their career in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment. As a Senior Tester, you will have a critical role in enhancing the Aurum Platform by contributing to its development. You will be a part of the expanding QA Team and will collaborate with the Development and Support teams to enhance the current test framework, resulting in improved test coverage and overall product quality. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include tasks such as analysing requirements, writing and executing test cases, and creating and running auto-tests to support new features and other projects.

About You

  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and tester’s mindset.
  • Experience in requirements verification and writing clear test cases.
  • Solid knowledge of Python.
  • Having JavaScript/PowerShell/Batch onboard is a plus.
  • Experience in writing auto-tests for desktop/web.
  • Experience writing SQL queries of moderate complexity.
  • Basic Database Management skills (MSSQL).
  • Good knowledge of Windows.
  • Clear written and spoken English.
  • Naturally organised and proactive, able to work within deadlines.
  • “Can do, will do” attitude.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Web applications and REST API testing.
  • Experience working in Accounting, Finance Reporting or Financial Software.
  • Security principles related to software.
  • Experience working with Linux.
  • Experience working with Bitbucket, Git, Jira, and Confluence.
