Equity Analyst

Global hedge fund ($5bn+ AUM) is looking for a fundamental Equity Analyst to join their desks in London, focusing on Insurance stocks.

They are looking for an Equity Analyst to join a PM, based in New York, running a market-neutral, l/s book covering Financials. You would be the only team member based in London, but you'd work closely with the other Financials teams in the London office, as well as regular interaction with the New York team. We are looking for someone entrepreneurial and this represents an opportunity to work within a highly collaborative and innovative environment with a path towards managing capital.

As an Equity Analyst, you MUST have:

• At least 3+ years experience in fundamental equity research
• Ideally buyside experience
• Experience within Insurance
• Core Excel/financial modelling skills
• Strong ability to communicate
• A strong educational background with a degree from a top university
• Entrepreneurial and driven nature
