The Opportunity
Leading a team of brilliant individuals responsible for low latency market data connectivity as well as the backbone of 95% of overall data transfer in the company. You will be heavily involved in:
- Designing the high-level system architecture covering data dissemination across the globe.
- Squeezing the last cycles and bits of cache out of CPUs feeding our low latency trading strategies.
- Improving data encoding, decreasing shared memory footprint and saving bandwidth of our fast network lines.
- Optimizing connectivity to the existing venues leveraging trading systems and outcompeting others in the race.
- Providing connectivity to new venues widening our market coverage.
- Prioritization of your team work among overall company work items.
- Development and growth of Engineering team members.
Who you are
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Strong critical thinking foreseeing design flaws and potential issues.
- Strong market data knowledge (tradfi works, but crypto experience is highly desirable).
- Strong network programming skills including kernel bypass techniques.
- Knowledge about network protocols (Websockets/HTTP/TCP/UDP/IP).
- Strong low level C++ skills.
- Strong inter-thread/process communication skills.
- Lockless shared memory data structures knowledge.
- Good hardware knowledge (CPU, memory+NUMA, NIC).
