Description

To provide and communicate relevant and timely management information in order to facilitate improved performance and financial control to support appropriate financial decisions. Provides support to all financial aspects of Aurorium.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Lead the timely production of financial results by ensuring accurate entry of financial information into financial systems.
  • Manage own time to meet monthly priorities aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Provide and suggest areas of process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce operational cost.
  • Ensure a consistent management accounting approach and reconciliation preparation across the European entities.
  • Manage treasury and cash forecasting for any given entity to provide detailed reporting of cash to the European Finance Director.
  • Work with local management accountants and other team members to ensure AR factoring processes are effective and cash needs are met.
  • Ensure month-end close timetable and reporting for the designated region/site is met.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Agree intercompany accounts across Europe on a monthly basis and with other global entities.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations on a minimum monthly basis, ensuring required financial control.
  • Complete miscellaneous GL postings.
  • Ensure accruals and repayments are understood and required supporting documentation is available for review.
  • Prepare and file all VAT and Intrastat returns accurately and on time.
  • Work with the Financial Accountant to ensure smooth delivery of the annual audit for Europe, including US and local reporting requirements.
  • Support the completion of the annual operating plan (AOP) for all European sites.
  • Support the development of systems and processes driving automation and efficient use of available tools.
  • Manage the workload and development of the management accounting team.
  • Provide ad‑hoc support to the European Finance team.
  • Undertake other duties as may be required.
