Role Overview

  • Ensure relevant risk assessment and health assessment processes are followed (DSE assessments etc).
  • Deliver health and safety training and inductions for staff and where necessary, including contractors.
  • Attend relevant Health and Safety meetings to ensure a culture of safety is high on the agenda.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organisation.

Compliance:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including HSE regulations, Ofgem requirements, ESQCR, Electricity Act and environmental standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and advise the business on implications.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits including ISO assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, certifications, and regulatory submissions.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to meet legal and regulatory obligations.
