Job Title: HR Generalist (Senior People Advisor) Location: London Victoria (min 4 days in office) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm Reports to: HR Director About the role: We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist who will support the HR Director and the wider HR team in daily operations and delivering our people strategy. The ideal candidate will be a true generalist with experience across the employee lifecycle including recruitment, performance management, employee experience and engagement. This role will also support the delivery of DE&I and wellbeing strategies, so previous experience with these is desirable. In this role, you will: Report to the HR Director, working closely with the HR team to ensure all HR queries are dealt with efficiently. Support the delivery of all daily HR operations, covering the full employee lifecycle. Be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment and selection process (working with line managers and agencies) while actively promoting the Aurora employer brand. Work with the HR Coordinator to ensure all onboarding and offboarding processes are completed efficiently. Confidently handle employee relations, coaching and guiding managers as required. Advise management on best practices for absence management, performance management, and other people-related matters. Provide support with all learning and development activities, including promoting our E-learning system and delivering management workshops. Advise on policies and procedures, reviewing them in line with changing employment law. Manage the HR activities calendar (employee wellbeing, surveys, DE&I). Actively promote and deliver employee wellbeing and engagement activities. Support the creation and delivery of DE&I strategy and employee wellbeing strategy. Stay updated on changes to employment law and best practices to regularly update HR policies and procedures. Collaborate with marketing on internal communications by providing materials for newsletters; manage our wellbeing and key dates schedule. Handle any other HR projects and ad hoc HR tasks as required. Occasional travel to other sites (all within the UK). Skills and experience you will need to succeed in this role: Confident individual with broad operational HR experience and solid technical knowledge. Demonstrable experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment. Previous L&D and DE&I experience. Good understanding of UK employment law. Results-oriented and highly organised. High attention to detail. Proactive – always looking for ways to improve processes and propose effective solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport and influence people at all levels. Self-motivated professional.
