A well-regarded law firm based in Basingstoke is looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join their busy residential property team. This is a permanent, full-time role and a genuine opportunity to step into a fee-earning position where your work will be valued and your caseload will be your own.
You don't need to be a qualified solicitor, what matters is that you know conveyancing inside out, front to back.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion
- Handling sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
- Carrying out title investigations and raising/responding to enquiries
- Managing exchange and completion processes, including SDLT, registration, and reporting
- Building relationships with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors
- Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' hands-on conveyancing experience
- Solid experience across the full conveyancing process, pre and post completion
- Confidence running your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and excellent client communication skills
- Familiarity with case management systems
- Qualification as a solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or CILEx is welcome but not essential
