We are a leading energy services company looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse range of energy sector services, including lifting operations, equipment inspections, rope access work, and ATV services.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of skilled technicians, supervisors, and project managers.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs, ensuring staff adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to encourage professional growth.

Project Oversight

  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments to ensure smooth operations.

Safety and Compliance

  • Uphold strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Implement and maintain a robust safety management system, conducting regular safety audits and corrective actions when needed.

Client Relations

  • Act as the primary contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and they are satisfied with our services.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and prepare proposals.

Operational Excellence

  • Design and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure we maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years in the energy services industry, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Deep understanding of lifting operations, equipment inspections, rope access, and ATV services.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations, including LOLER, PUWER, and IRATA.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and complex projects.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments, including offshore platforms, wind farms, and industrial sites.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
