Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and superbly organised Marketing Coordinator with exceptional attention to detail to deliver high impact marketing campaigns to support our industry-leading Aurora client and public events with the aim of sharing the company’s original analysis on the hottest energy topics. You will join our Oxford office and work with the in-house events team to deliver marketing campaigns that maximize registrations and attendance at our events across Europe, including our flagship Spring Forum in London. You will also promote and implement strategies to grow the Energy Unplugged podcast audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns for our large Aurora events, including email, social media, digital advertising, and content marketing.
  • Collaborating with the events team to develop cohesive messaging and promotion strategies to achieve registrations and ticket sales KPIs.
  • Coordinating the production of marketing materials including event conference programmes and post-event highlights.
  • Coordinating and growing our social media presence by creating, scheduling, and monitoring content across platforms to promote events and engage with our audience.
  • Developing and implementing email marketing campaigns, including copywriting, creating templates, list segmentation, and analysing performance metrics.
  • Tracking, analysing, and reporting on campaign performance with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinating media partnerships for large events in collaboration with the Press team.
  • Promoting our Energy Unplugged podcast across channels and implementing strategies to increase listener numbers and engagement.
  • Contributing ideas to continuously improve our events strategy in collaboration with the Commercial team.

What we are looking for

Required attributes

  • 2+ years of experience within a marketing team
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and re-prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Ability to use own initiative and work under tight deadlines
  • Collaborative and willing to support other team members
  • Good PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
  • Prepared to attend occasional events

Desired attributes

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Account Engagement, WordPress, webinar software, Google Analytics, and social media marketing
  • Experience in B2B marketing, including events
