Aurora Dairies are currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand or Farm Hand for a dairy farm located in Fulham, situated 15 minutes from both Sale and 35 minutes from Traralgon in Victoria's Gippsland region.

Bangalay Farm is a 280Ha farm with flood irrigation a centre pivot and 2 lateral irrigators Currently milking 1,150 xbred and holstein cows through a 60 bail rotary, with auto cup removers and auto teat spray.

The farm is predominantly pasture based with grain fed in the dairy, along with summer crop and silage feeding.

This farm is 100% Spring calving starting in July and rearing up to 300-350 replacements.

Accommodation may be available for the right employee and we may have full time or casual employment opportunities for your partner on a nearby farm, if required.

This role will include tasks the areas of

  • Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures.
  • All aspects of milking.
  • Pasture management.
  • Machinery operation.
  • Repairs and maintenance.
