About Auror

At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It’s high‑volume crime that’s increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day. Founded in New Zealand 12 years ago, we’re working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We’re using technology for good. In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world’s largest problems. If you’re looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team. We’re also embracing the potential of AI to supercharge our impact – whether that’s enhancing the way we detect trends, support our customers, or improve internal workflows. As a company, we’re committed to responsibly incorporating AI into how we work and what we build, and we encourage all Aurors to be curious about how AI can elevate their work, regardless of role or function.

The Role

Auror is growing fast. We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to help us change an industry. This is an opportunity to partner with some of the biggest names in UK and Irish retail, protect people and communities from harm, and shape how a category‑leading SaaS platform scales across enterprise environments. You’ll be at the forefront of our expansion, building strategic relationships, driving complex deals, and elevating how we win as a team. You won’t just close deals. You’ll help define how we win them.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle: manage the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through contract negotiation, deal closure and onboarding.
  • Drive disciplined, repeatable pipeline strategy: define and execute sales plans to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Lead with commercial depth: build trust and credibility with prospects and current clients by actively listening, being naturally curious, understanding their unique needs, and offering customised solutions.
  • Build executive‑level partnerships: design and deliver compelling sales presentations that convey the magic that Auror brings to our retail partners.
  • Elevate the team around you: collaborate and win together by sharing what’s working, help the team win, and take on projects outside of closing deals.

This role reports to Joe Sentance, Senior Director of Retail Solutions – UK & Europe. He has spent the last decade managing great teams in Defence, National Security and Public Safety and is motivated by helping people do their best work and genuinely making a difference to our partners. He is target‑driven, hates to lose, and believes Auror will lead the way for the UK and Ireland.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience over multiple FYs owning the full enterprise B2B SaaS sales cycle, including outbound, complex deal strategy, and executive negotiation.
  • Consistent quota overachievement, closing sophisticated multi‑stakeholder deals in competitive markets.
  • Proven ability to build repeatable plays, structured close plans, and disciplined forecasting that improve team outcomes to win together.
  • Lead strategy with clear priorities, smart trade‑offs, and strong pipeline hygiene.
  • Translate product capability into board‑level ROI narratives, protecting long‑term value in complex commercial negotiations.
  • Spot commercial risks early and navigate them strategically.
  • Align senior stakeholders internally and externally, progressing deals in politically complex environments with calm credibility.
  • Structured thinker who communicates with clarity and precision, thriving with ambiguity.
  • Intrinsically driven to win, highly accountable, and motivated by raising the performance bar for yourself and those around you.
  • Energised by scaling environments, align deeply with our Guiding Principles, and are comfortable travelling up to 30% to build strong in‑person partnerships.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and sales incentive: depending on level of experience, on‑target earnings of £170,000, with accelerators for overachievement and uncapped earning potential.
  • Employee share scheme: you’ll own part of a company making a real difference.
  • Generous annual leave: 29 days of annual leave per year, plus public holidays, so you can properly rest and recharge.
  • Wellness days: 10 paid Wellness Days per year, which can be used for mental or physical health, medical appointments, or to care for an unwell family member.
  • Flexibility: we are hard‑working and outcome‑focused but recognise there is more to life than work. We promote a healthy work/life blend.
  • Shorter work weeks (at full pay): everyone gets Friday afternoons off, so you can start your weekend early and do more of whatever it is that makes you happy.
  • Focus on mental and physical health: we understand how vital our health is and have policies to support your wellness, including Wellness Days, and up to £375 GBP for expert sessions every year.
  • Health insurance: we prioritise looking after your health by covering 100% of your individual health insurance plan through Vitality Health Insurance.
  • Family‑friendly: we offer comprehensive paid parental leave—12 weeks for birth parents and 6 weeks for non‑birth parents following birth, adoption, or surrogacy, available to all Aurors from day one.
  • Personal growth: we support our team to participate in courses, conferences, or events that will help them develop their skills.
  • Tech: brand new MacBook or work laptop of your preference.
  • Team connection: we have regular team lunches, happy hours, and social events where most activities are during work hours.
