About Auror
At Auror, we are empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It is high volume crime that is increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day. Founded in New Zealand 12 years ago, we are working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the UK, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We are using technology for good.

In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world’s largest problems. If you are looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team. We are also embracing the potential of AI to supercharge our impact—whether that is enhancing the way we detect trends, support our customers, or improve internal workflows. As a company, we are committed to responsibly incorporating AI into how we work and what we build, and we encourage all Aurors to be curious about how AI can elevate their work, regardless of role or function.

The Role
At Auror, we are on a mission to be the best place for people to do their best work. This role isn’t just about hiring great people; you will be shaping the entire journey from the moment a candidate first hears about Auror until they are fully thriving in our team. We believe the strongest partnerships with our leaders and teammates are built from day one and you will be that trusted advisor who sets the tone for a culture of high care and high performance.

We are on the lookout for a Talent & PX Partner to join us in the new year and step into a 13-month parental leave cover role, with the possibility of becoming permanent at the end of the term if there is a business need. Supporting our UK team, you will be a natural relationship builder - confident in navigating conversations with people of all levels of seniority, influencing with credibility, and guiding decisions with professionalism and care. You will genuinely love the art and science of talent. Finding the right candidate excites you, and you take pride in seeing people you have hired succeed in their role and beyond. You will thrive in a role where you can switch contexts often, enjoying the variety of influencing senior stakeholders, partnering on PX initiatives, and keeping a pulse on our people’s experience.

What makes this role especially rewarding is the breadth: you will work across the full PX lifecycle at a company known for its strong culture - this is a true end-to-end people experience role, not just one piece of the puzzle. And you won’t be going it alone; you will join a supportive global team that values diverse skills and perspectives, and together you will build foundations of trust that help our people do their best work.

  • People Experience

    • Acting as a trusted advisor on people relations, guiding individual contributors and leaders through complex conversations with care and professionalism
    • Ensuring compliance with local requirements (health & safety, leave, payroll reporting)
    • Streamlining and administering people processes to make Auror a great place to work for everyone
  • Talent

    • Leading proactive, innovative sourcing and recruitment to attract outstanding talent at all levels
    • Designing engaging candidate experiences that reflect Auror’s culture of high care and high performance
    • Building diverse and inclusive talent pipelines, supporting internal mobility, and enabling growth for existing team members
    • Driving Auror’s employer brand and talent community presence in the UK
