We're partnering with an innovative automation engineering business that designs, builds and delivers bespoke industrial automation solutions for customers across a range of manufacturing sectors.
As a Robotics Integration Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing, integrating and commissioning advanced robotic systems, working on both standalone robotic applications and complete turnkey automation projects. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to technically challenging projects while working with leading robotics technologies across the UK and internationally.
- Design, develop and program robotic automation solutions for industrial applications.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and controls engineers to successfully integrate robotic systems.
- Lead robotics projects from initial concept through installation, commissioning and customer handover.
- Install, commission and optimise robotic systems at customer facilities.
- Diagnose faults, provide technical support and carry out servicing on existing robotic installations.
- Manage assigned projects to ensure successful delivery within agreed quality and timescales.
- Share technical knowledge and support the development of colleagues within the robotics team.
- Maintain high engineering standards while delivering innovative automation solutions.
Demonstrated experience in industrial robotics and robotic system integration.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following robotic platforms:
Experience working within industrial manufacturing or factory automation environments.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP and ProfiNET.
Experience integrating robotics into automated production or manufacturing systems.
Additional experience with PLC programming, HMI/Touchscreen systems, SCADA or industrial networking would be advantageous.
Previous project delivery or project management experience is beneficial.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Full UK driving licence.
Fluent English communication skills.
Willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK, Europe, USA and Canada.
