As a Senior Electronic Engineer, you will play a role in the Hardware team to work on advanced electronic devices, including embedded systems and PCB boards, firmware and applications, for a variety of applications in banking, payments, fare collection, and IoT systems. This role involves end‑to‑end responsibility for electronic design, from initial concept and specification to final validation and support for manufacturing and programming. You’ll leverage your expertise in electronics, embedded systems, and IoT to create robust, scalable solutions for real‑world applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements, component selection, and design specifications firmware/software development and programming.
- Integrate and test designed systems with hardware and software components, ensuring compatibility and performance standards are met.
- Create and simulate circuit designs, perform schematic capture, and layout multi‑layer PCB designs using industry‑standard tools.
- Design and develop complex electronic circuits and multi‑layer PCB boards for use in fare collection systems, payment devices, and intelligent transportation systems.
- Develop and execute testing procedures for prototypes, including validation, functional testing, and design‑for‑manufacturing (DFM) considerations.
- Support the transfer of designs to manufacturing, including the creation of documentation, BOM, and production guidelines.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronics design, IoT, and payment technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in electronic or embedded systems.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in PCB design software, Altium Designer.
- Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuits, including microcontrollers, embedded systems, and power management.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as USB, UART, SPI, I2C and various wireless technologies (Bluetooth, NFC, Wi‑Fi).
- Understanding of regulatory compliance standards relevant to payment and transit systems.
- Problem‑Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing designs for performance and reliability.

- IoT and Embedded Systems: Experience in embedded systems, IoT applications, including connectivity and security considerations.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with banking, payments, fare collection systems, or intelligent transportation systems.
