The Logistics Executive cum ISO Administration is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain logistics including procurement support, warehousing, transportation, and delivery operations. Additionally, this role takes care of ISO and TQM document maintenance. The candidate will act as a liaison between vendors, internal departments, and customers to maintain operational efficiency and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations such as inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and transportation.
- Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and third-party logistics providers.
- Optimize routes and transportation costs to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Maintain accurate logistics documentation including delivery notes, shipping invoices, and inventory records.
- Monitor and manage logistics budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Quality Control (QC):
- Maintain and enforce quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and certifications (e.g., ISO, TQM).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum (3-5) years of experience in logistics and quality control, preferably in manufacturing/trading/FMCG/automotive/etc.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management, transportation, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with quality management systems.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Experience with import/export procedures and documentation.
