ABOUT THE ROLE

The Night Concierge is responsible for ensuring that residents, visitors and staff are given advice and provided with a safe and secure environment in line with legislation and particularly in emergency situations.

This will include communicating with emergency services, protecting people and property, detecting and preventing crime including operating and controlling access control.

You will be welcoming, meeting and greeting residents and visitors entering the building and will ensure the property is secure throughout the night.

They will conduct random and continuous patrols to engage with colleagues in the building, proving a presence and preventing the opportunity for harm.

This role will be supporting vulnerable people to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you may need to assist with personal care and support them if there is an incident that occurs during your night shift on property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor building security, control access, conduct patrols, and respond to emergencies.
  • Act as first responder for incidents such as fire alarms, security breaches, falls, or medical emergencies.
  • Support vulnerable residents overnight, including assisting with mobility, reassurance, and occasional personal care/incontinence support.
  • Operate security systems including CCTV, alarms, access control, and key management.
  • Deliver concierge-style services including resident assistance, handling deliveries, newspaper distribution, and responding to requests.
  • Maintain accurate incident logs and communicate effectively with emergency services, colleagues, and management.
  • Ensure health & safety, infection control, safeguarding, and compliance procedures are followed.
  • Ideal Candidate
  • Experienced in security, concierge, hospitality, healthcare, or luxury residential environments.
  • Holds a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (required).
  • Calm under pressure with strong emergency response and risk assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities.
  • IT literate, organised, flexible, and professional.
  • First Aid/CPR certification and care experience are advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence.
