Initially this is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent. This is a hands-on role for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong layout and typography skills, and the ability to create polished, brand-aligned assets across print, digital, email, web and event channels. The role will support day-to-day marketing activity, sales and partnership materials, events, presentations, digital content and brand collateral, ensuring all output reflects the standards of two premium brands. You will work closely with the Group Marketing Director, Marketing Managers, agencies and external suppliers to deliver accurate, elegant and production-ready design work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create brand-aligned design assets across print, digital, social, email, web and event channels.
  • Design and artwork brochures, invitations, menus, event materials, sales collateral, partnership packs and presentations.
  • Create digital assets for websites, email campaigns, LinkedIn, Instagram, paid media and landing pages.
  • Support photoshoots and filming where required, including preparation, on-the-day coordination, image selection, retouching notes and delivery of final assets.
  • Support the design of website, landing page and email assets, ensuring layouts are clear, brand-aligned and suitable for digital use.
  • Apply good UX principles to digital layouts, helping ensure content is clear, easy to navigate and appropriate for the intended audience.
  • Support the development and maintenance of templates, creative libraries and brand assets across Auriens and Draycott Nursing & Care.
  • Ensure design work reflects the visual identity, tone and quality standards of each brand.
  • Translate existing campaign concepts into practical day-to-day assets across channels, and develop new brand-aligned creative ideas that extend the campaign direction while maintaining visual consistency.
  • Prepare production-ready files for print and digital use, ensuring accuracy, consistency and attention to detail.
  • Support image selection, cropping, retouching notes and basic image editing where required.
  • Work with marketing, sales, events and partnership teams to understand briefs and deliver clear, polished design solutions.
  • Liaise with printers, agencies and suppliers where needed to support smooth delivery of printed and digital materials.
  • Help identify visual inconsistencies and improve the quality and consistency of everyday brand output.
  • Support presentation design and formatting for internal, commercial and partnership meetings.
  • Manage multiple design requests, deadlines and priorities in a fast-moving marketing environment.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in graphic design, ideally in a luxury, hospitality, property, interiors, healthcare, lifestyle or premium services environment.
  • Strong portfolio showing excellent layout, typography and visual storytelling across print and digital formats.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience creating production-ready artwork for print and digital channels.
  • Experience designing digital assets for websites, email campaigns, social media and paid media.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high brand standards.
  • Good understanding of brand guidelines and how to apply them consistently.
  • Confident working across multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Able to take a brief, ask the right questions and translate requirements into clear design outputs.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
  • Comfortable working with marketing, sales, events and external suppliers.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in luxury hospitality, branded residences, property, interiors, care, healthcare or premium lifestyle sectors.
  • Experience designing presentations and sales materials.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Canva or similar digital design tools.
  • Understanding of responsive design, UX principles and the practical limitations of website and email design.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and email template constraints would be beneficial.
  • Basic motion graphics, video editing or animation skills.
  • Experience supporting photoshoots, image selection or retouching processes.

Key behaviours:

  • Highly organised and detail focused.
  • Calm and practical under deadline pressure.
  • Creative, but commercially minded.
  • Able to balance beauty with clarity and usability.
  • Comfortable working within established brand guidelines.
  • Proactive and solutions oriented.
  • Discreet, professional and comfortable working in a premium environment.
  • Collaborative, helpful and willing to support a small, busy team.
