At Draycott we care about care! We are looking for a Live In Carer to join our team.

Salary: Weekdays £138.60 per day, and weekends £148.10 per day, plus food allowance

Location: South West London

We like to match our carers’ skills and experience to our clients’ needs; these may vary from physical and practical support to social and emotional care.

What does a Live-In Carer do? As a live-in carer, you will reside with your client for the duration of your rota. We are seeking someone to provide cover for the primary live-in carer every two months. This placement will require you to stay with the client for a period of two weeks. Shifts will be 12 hours per day, with a 2-hour break included each day.

Key areas you might be dealing with:

  • Enteral feeding
  • Discreet and sensitive personal care
  • Meal planning, preparation, and potentially assisting with feeding
  • Medication administration and management
  • Light housekeeping
  • Assisting with mobility
  • Companionship and emotional support

Duties will include:

  • Communicating effectively with the client and building a strong, lasting relationship
  • Working closely with the wider Draycott Head Office support team to ensure the best service for our clients
  • Keeping accurate, factual written accounts of your time with the client via our care management app
  • An awareness of the client’s emotional and spiritual needs
  • Observing and following Draycott Nursing’s Health and Safety policy

Must be willing and able to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as a mandatory requirement (or show proof of being on the DBS Update Service). Must be eligible to work in the UK without the requirement of company sponsorship.
