An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a world-renowned aerospace and engineering organisation operating within a complex, high-precision manufacturing environment. This is a highly visible role working directly alongside senior leadership within the Sourcing & Supply Chain function, helping drive operational performance, supplier visibility and strategic decision-making across a technically complex manufacturing business. We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially aware individual who enjoys solving operational problems, working with complex datasets and translating technical and supply chain information into clear, actionable business insight. The successful candidate will support leadership across sourcing, supply chain and operational activities through high-quality analysis, reporting, performance insight and structured recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex supply chain, sourcing and operational data
- Support supplier performance, delivery and operational improvement activities
- Develop leadership reporting packs, dashboards and executive summaries
- Translate operational discussions into clear recommendations and actions
- Identify risks, bottlenecks and root causes impacting delivery, quality or cost
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Sourcing and Quality teams
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier governance activities
- Improve reporting quality, operational visibility and business insight
- Help leadership teams make faster, data-driven operational decisions
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

- Procurement / Sourcing Operations
- Manufacturing or Engineering Operations
- Operational Performance Reporting
- Power BI / Excel / KPI Reporting
- Aerospace, Defence, Automotive or Complex Manufacturing Environments
- Business Analysis within operational environments
- Supplier performance or operational governance reporting
Skills & Experience
- Advanced Excel capability (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, large datasets)
- Experience creating dashboards, reporting packs and operational insight
- Power BI or similar reporting/visualisation tools
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to leadership teams
- Experience working cross-functionally with operational stakeholders
- Exposure to ERP/MRP systems (SAP advantageous)
- Experience within fast-paced operational or manufacturing environments
