We are exclusively partnering with a highly regarded national UK law firm that is making a significant investment in the continued growth of its Financial Services Regulatory practice. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious Legal Director (or exceptional Senior Associate ready to step up) to join a growing team with genuine Partnership potential.
The firm is seeking an inquisitive, commercially minded lawyer with a strong reputation in Financial Services Regulation, ideally advising banks, investment firms, payment institutions, asset managers and other FCA-regulated businesses. This role will suit someone looking for greater autonomy, the opportunity to build their own practice and the support of an established national platform.
Working alongside an experienced Financial Services Regulatory Partner, you will play a key role in the continued expansion of the practice. You will advise clients across a broad range of Financial Services Regulatory matters, including:
- Banking regulation
- Payment Services Regulations
- Financial promotions
- Consumer Credit
- Asset Management
- Investment Funds
- Regulatory perimeter advice
- Governance and regulatory change
Significant Financial Services Regulatory experience gained within private practice or a leading in-house financial services legal team.
Strong expertise advising on FCA regulation and the wider UK regulatory framework.
Experience working with banks, investment firms, asset managers, payment institutions or other FCA-regulated businesses.
A commercial mindset with genuine business development capability.
The confidence and ambition to build a practice and develop long-term client relationships.
Ideally, an existing network or portable client following that can support a business case for Partnership.
