Aurex Group are a leading commodity specialist Executive Search firm with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Houston. We are working with a global bulk commodity trading house that is looking to hire a Credit Risk Manager in London.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth credit analysis and have an oversight of a portfolio that consists of industry sectors and countries globally, specifically in the ferrous and non-ferrous metals sector.
- Prepare credit proposals, provide risk assessments, and highlight emerging risks/risk issues to traders and senior management.
- Analyse, structure, and approve limits that are aligned with the firm’s credit policies and risk appetite.
- Work closely with the global credit team to generate ideas, recommendations and analyses in response to events in regional markets.
- Monitor market trends and developments, and highlight how these translate in terms of business implications to the credit quality of the firm’s portfolio.
- Share regional expertise with front office and product team is a plus.
Requirements
- Industry knowledge in the metals/iron ore sectors is necessary.
- Experience in commodities/structured finance would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills and credit sense.
