Qualifications Required
- School experience of supporting and teaching secondary-aged children as a HTLA or unqualified teacher.
- A UK bachelor's degree (2:2 or above, although some 3rd class degrees may be considered)
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above (If you do not have a Mathematics-related degree, you must hold an A level in Mathematics at grade C or above.)
- Right to work and study in the UK, with 3+ years of residency in the UK/EEA.
Postgraduate Apprenticeship Route
- If successful in the post-interview process, the employing school would pay the trainee the first pay point on the unqualified teacher scale.
- The successful apprentice would be issued an employment contract as a PGTA for the academic year, subject to a successful interview and meeting all the conditions of the offer.
- GLF’s Trust Apprenticeship Levy Fund would pay the £9,000 training fee for the teacher training programme.
- Local training: Receive weekly training in your area by local expert practitioners.
- Collaborative Trust: Work alongside a network of professionals across the region within GLF schools.
