You will be responsible for preparing materials and equipment for lessons, maintaining workshops and studios, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and helping to create an inspiring learning environment where creativity can flourish.
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials and equipment for art and design lessons.
- Maintain workshops, studios and relevant equipment.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are upheld.
- Support staff and students in creating a positive, creative learning environment.
- Assist in organising and running art and design projects and activities.
Qualifications
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with tools, machinery, art materials or in an educational setting is advantageous; full training will be provided if required.
- Good communication skills and a positive, supportive attitude towards students.
