Aureus School, part of GLF Schools Trust, is looking for a Postgraduate Teacher Apprentice of Mathematics, to start in September 2026. Aureus School is seeking a salaried apprentice trainee to work with children aged 11-16 through the Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship route.

Qualifications Required
To be eligible to apply, you’ll need:
- School experience of supporting and teaching secondary-aged children as a HTLA or unqualified teacher.
- A UK bachelor's degree (2:2 or above, although some 3rd class degrees may be considered).
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above (If you do not have a Mathematics-related degree, you must hold an A level in Mathematics at grade C or above).
- Right to work and study in the UK, with 3+ years of residency in the UK/EEA, in order to receive the Apprenticeship Levy funding to pay for your course fees.
Postgraduate Apprenticeship Route
If successful in the post-interview process, the employing school would pay the trainee the first pay point on the unqualified teacher scale. The successful apprentice would be issued an employment contract as a PGTA for the academic year, subject to a successful interview and meeting all the conditions of the offer.
