Aureus School has a fantastic opportunity for an impactful Student Inclusion Leader to work as a key member of the Inclusion Team, providing high quality support for students with SEND through a balance of in class support, targeted interventions, and coordination of provision.
Your Opportunity
As Inclusion Lead in our school you will play a vital role in securing great outcomes for our students and will take an important role in supporting and developing inclusion policy, reviewing provision and developing staffing expertise in areas of secondary inclusion. We need someone who will champion our passionate vision about helping all of our students strive for a culture where hope, aspiration and ambition is a reflection of their future adult lives.
What we are looking for
- A qualified SENDCo, with evidence of engagement in continuing professional development
- Happy to work with the Inclusion Team to provide both high quality in class support and deliver small group and 1:1 interventions, as directed
- Highly motivated individual, showing resilience, stamina and reliability under pressure
- Someone who will inspire, motivate and who embraces and enjoys working in challenging circumstances
- Ability to liaise with external agencies (e.g. Educational Psychologists, SALT, CAMHS, Local Authority SEND teams, BIO) to coordinate assessments, advice and provision.
