Energyline are seeking a part time HSQE Advisor to work at Copgrove, North Yorkshire. At Energyline, we combine technical expertise with a collaborative approach to deliver design, survey, and consultancy services across the power sector. As part of the Aureos Group, we support a wide range of overhead line and underground cable projects—bringing together planning, environmental, and site-based teams to deliver practical, high-quality solutions.
The Role: Reporting to the Company Directors and working closely with our project teams, this role will advise and support all aspects of Health and Safety across the business, ensuring the highest standards are maintained both on site and in the office. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and practical support to all employees and management teams, helping to drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, company procedures and industry standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Review, maintain, and monitor compliance with the company’s Health and Safety management systems, including ISO45001 and Achilles B2 standards.
- Support employees and management teams with the implementation of Health and Safety policies, procedures, best practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deliver Health and Safety training, inductions and toolbox talks to maintain employee’s awareness, knowledge and competency across the business.
- Prepare and review Health and Safety documentation.
- Conduct site and office inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Skills
- Relevant industry experience.
- A NEBOSH General or NEBOSH construction certificate.
- CSCS, SMSTS and CDM awareness.
- Experience carrying out risk assessment, audits and incident investigations.
- Personal Qualities
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff to promote a safe working environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage documentation and prioritise workload.
- Confidence working independently and providing practical support on site.
