Responsibilities:\\*\\* \\* Lead the preparation of comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for various infrastructure projects for utilities works, from conceptual to detailed design stages. \\* Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare thorough and detailed quantity take-offs. \\* Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure all project requirements are understood and incorporated into estimates. \\* Develop and maintain a robust database of cost data, including labor, materials, and equipment rates. \\* Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities associated with project estimates and propose mitigation strategies. \\* Prepare detailed bid proposals, including scope of work, assumptions, exclusions, and clarifications. \\* Present and defend estimates to internal stakeholders and clients. \\* Mentor and support junior estimators, fostering their professional development. \\* Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in estimating.
