Job Description
Aureos are looking for a Treasury Manager to look after the Group Function, working from the Head Office in Farringdon, London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support acting as an experienced pair of hands to help manage the day-to-day cash position and reduce workload pressure.
- Lead a strategic review of the Treasury function – identify inefficiencies, embed best practices, and propose improvements to support growth and maturity.
- Drive process improvements – streamline manual operations and implement scalable solutions.
- Support key Treasury projects, including refinancing (with a focus on receivables) plus managing group-wide facilities for foreign exchange, investments, credit card programs, and other financial instruments
- Collaborate with the CFO to shape and deliver the broader Treasury strategy and ensure alignment with the business’s medium-to-long-term objectives.
- Offer insight and direction to better inform the team’s future goals and operational approach.
- Leading and coordinating short-to- long-term cash flow forecasting across the group, incorporating input from all business units
- Ensuring treasury procedures and processes are aligned with internal financial policies across the group
- Overseeing the migration of subsidiary banking operations to the group's preferred banking partner, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining operational cash management
- Managing the opening and closing of corporate bank accounts as necessary
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in senior Treasury roles
- Strong background in process improvement and best practice implementation.
- Hands-on experience with refinancing, particularly receivables-based structures.
- Ability to work closely with CFOs and senior leadership on strategy.
- Experience in Private Equity-backed businesses highly preferred.
- Comfortable rolling up sleeves, managing day-to-day work, and mentoring junior team members.
