Aureos (previously known as Keltbray) have a fantastic opportunity within the finance team, ideal for someone looking to make the move from audit into a commercial role and offering hands-on exposure to group reporting, consolidation and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly consolidated financial results for the group.
  • Review inter-company transactions across the group, ensuring these appropriately eliminate.
  • Support in the delivery of monthly financial reporting (both internal and external stakeholders) and board pack preparation including preparation of financial analysis to aid understanding and decision making.
  • Analysing working capital.
  • Support in the delivery of the annual statutory audit, financial statements and tax compliance process including co-ordination with the wider finance team and external auditors/tax advisors.
  • Partner with internal teams on restructuring and corporate activity.
  • Resolve technical accounting issues and produce supporting papers.
  • Maintain integrity of general ledger financial systems & COINS mappings.
  • Work with Business Unit Finance, FP&A & Treasury in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, controls and systems ensuring consistency of application across the Aureos Group.
  • Perform data quality checks and key reconciliations to underlying system.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects.

Skills and experience required

  • Recently qualified ACA or ACCA (from practice preferred)
  • Experience in Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Sound understanding of UK GAAP, FRS102 and IFRS with experience of Going Concern papers
  • Experience in group consolidations and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and applications.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to work.
