Aureos are seeking a Customer Liaison Officer to work on a 3-month fixed term contract in Eastleigh, Hampshire.

The Customer Liaison Officer plays a key role in supporting Aureos Project Managers to ensure a seamless customer journey from project conception through to completion.

Acting as the primary link between customers, project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders, the successful candidate will maintain clear communication, manage expectations, and help drive positive customer experiences throughout the project lifecycle.

This role combines customer relationship management, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in line with customer expectations.

The role will also involve regular travel to project sites and customer locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, local stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Ensure customers are kept informed of project progress, milestones, planned works, and any changes affecting delivery.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, concerns, and complaints.
  • Manage customer expectations by providing accurate and timely information.
  • Project Support
  • Support Aureos Project Managers in coordinating project activities from conception through to completion.
  • Assist with project planning, stakeholder communications, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Monitor project milestones and highlight any risks or issues that may impact customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate customer access requirements, site visits, and key project meetings where required.
  • Maintain accurate project records, correspondence, and customer contact information.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Liaise with internal departments, subcontractors, utility providers, local authorities, and other external stakeholders.
  • Ensure stakeholder concerns are captured, communicated, and resolved effectively.
  • Promote collaborative working across all project teams to support successful project outcomes.
  • Customer Satisfaction & Continuous Improvement
  • Gather customer feedback throughout project delivery and at project completion.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve customer experience and project delivery processes.
  • Support the resolution of service issues and implement lessons learned.
  • Contribute to achieving customer satisfaction targets and business objectives.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure all customer communications are conducted in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records within relevant project management and customer relationship management systems.
  • Prepare reports and updates for project managers and senior stakeholders as required.
  • Promote and support Aureos' commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, stakeholder engagement, project coordination, or liaison role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within fast-paced project environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

  • Experience working within utilities, construction, infrastructure, telecommunications, or engineering sectors.
  • Knowledge of project delivery processes.
