Aureos are looking for a Regional Commercial Manager to support the Strategic Power Networks covering Scotland and working from our Blantyre office. Reporting to the Head of Commercial / Commercial Director, you will manage the commercial team in the provision of robust commercial support to the contract delivery team to ensure the profitability, cash management, cost control and accurate reporting of all schemes. Your role will require you to ensure:
- Management of application and credit control processes
- Management of the maximisation of income
- Management of all processes with regard to costing and forecasting
- Management of change control systems
- Management of project risk
- Management of CTC and Op. Stats.
- Management of the full sub-contract cycle
- Provision of commercial advice to Project Teams
- Development and improvement of relationships with Client, subcontractors and suppliers
- Management of dispute resolution
- Management of and input into Commercial Services
- Management of Training plans
- Input into Corporate marketing and tendering
Skills and experience required:
- Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent
- Professional Qualification
- Driving license
- Extensive post degree experience working in contracting commercial department. Substantial experience of which should be on multi-disciplined rail projects
- Detailed working knowledge of construction industry conditions of contract
- Proficient in Microsoft packages (Excel)
