Aureos Energy are recruiting for Senior Quantity Surveyors to work at Bathgate and Blantyre, Scotland. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will assist the commercial team in providing support to the contract delivery team to ensure the profitability, cash management, cost control and accurate reporting of all schemes.
Your role will require you to:
- Input into the application and credit control processes
- Understanding of income forecast and pricing of variations
- Understanding of the change control system
- Understanding of project risk
- Understanding of the production of CVRs
- Understanding of CTC
- Understanding the production of forecasting data
- Understanding of the costing process
- Understanding of the management of the full sub-contract cycle and input into sub-contract documentation
- Assisting with weekly cost to complete/budget reviews with the contract delivery teams
- Upload documentation as and when necessary, in line with business requirements
- Review weekly site records including allocation sheets and site diaries
- Attend project progress meetings
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial performance reports
- Gain experience outside of the commercial function to better understand the role of the business and the quantity surveyor within the business
