Aureos are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team in Essex, Norfolk, and Suffolk to support a multitude of projects. The role will be site-based, office-based, or hybrid depending on the project. The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering electrical installation projects safely, on time, and within budget. The role involves managing electrical engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with UK regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Delivery: Plan and manage electrical projects from design stage through installation to completion. Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved. Coordinate electrical works with other disciplines such as mechanical and civil teams.
- Team & Contractor Management: Manage site engineers, electricians, subcontractors, and suppliers. Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews. Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site issues.
- Financial Management: Prepare project budgets and cost forecasts. Monitor project costs and manage variations. Approve subcontractor payments and procurement orders.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. Professional memberships may include: Institution of Engineering and Technology or Chartered Institute of Building.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-10+ years experience in electrical construction or building services projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and commissioning.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and schedules.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
