Aureos are seeking a Quality Engineer to support on our project in Howden on a 6 month contract.

Completing works ‘RIGHT FIRST TIME’ is essential to delivering margin, client satisfaction and environmental protection. Quality assurance and Quality control underpin everything we do as a business and is an essential driver to success.

The Quality Engineer is responsible for the following in this respect:

  • Ensure compliance with specifications
  • Overseeing quality control
  • Working to quality control plans and processes which define relevant quality assurance measures are adhered to.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), conduct Inspection Test Forms (ITFs) for all aspects of the construction phase. Ensuring specifications, hold points, inspections are completed with the appropriate records taken.
  • Compile snagging/defect lists.
  • Produce and oversee the Material Approval Requests for all materials.
  • Ensuring that quality processes are audited to promote consistent approach across all construction activities.
  • Manage Non-conformances for the quality and performance of suppliers and subcontractors

Duties

  • Close liaison with our operational teams to ensure Quality related matters are addressed to the highest possible standard.

Qualifications And Training

  • Understanding of quality assurance aspects on site
  • Ability to keep accurate records of the inspections of the works for the quality records on site
