The Coffee Machine Technician is a full-time role based in Burgess Hill. This role is responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing coffee and drinks machines at customer locations, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Performing routine inspections
- Diagnosing and resolving technical faults
- Carrying out preventive maintenance
- Replacing parts as needed
- Responding to service calls
- Maintaining accurate service records
- Providing clear guidance to customers on proper use and basic care of equipment
The role also involves working closely with the service team to schedule visits, manage spare parts, and uphold high standards of customer service and workplace safety.
Qualifications:
- Strong equipment maintenance skills, including Machine Operation and general Machinery handling
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance for coffee and drinks machines
- Experience working with vending or beverage dispensing equipment, or similar electromechanical systems
- Basic electrical and mechanical understanding, with the ability to read and follow technical manuals
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel for on-site service calls
- Good communication skills, customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently and safely
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in engineering, maintenance, or a related field is advantageous
