We’re looking for a Dedicated Domestic Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Head Housekeeper.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition.
- Be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents.
- Comply with COSHH regulations.
- Adhere to infection control policies at all times.
- Ensure correct use of PPE.
- Re‑stock trolleys at the end of shift and leave cleaning cupboards clean and tidy.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties within the role.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related role.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently, showing creativity and passion for the work you do.
- Great communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities.
Compensation & Benefits
- 24 hours per week.
- Pay: £12.21 per hour.
- 28 days annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata for part‑time contracts).
