Responsibilities:
- Ensure C.O.S.H.H. requirements are met at all times.
- Wash dishes with respect for all equipment.
- Ensure kitchen floor and work surfaces are thoroughly disinfected daily.
- Adhere to the dishwasher cleaning schedule.
- Set up the tea trolley and keep it ready for use throughout the day.
- Where applicable, wipe all bedroom tables thoroughly when collecting food trays.
- Empty bins regularly and dispose of waste bags.
- Ensure tables are laid in the dining room.
- Prepare and deliver trays of hot or cold drinks with biscuits to visitors and relatives as required.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties within the role.
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen assistant experience.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently, showing creativity and passion for the work.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities.
