Responsibilities
- Prepare special diet meals in accordance with instructions from the care staff.
- Ensure a high level of service for all meal times.
- Complete all documentation relating to HACCP.
- Report any defects to equipment to the Home Manager.
- Ensure good quality and portion control.
- Assist Head Chef with four weekly menu planning.
- Undertake any ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for our residents.
What makes a Successful Candidate
- Must have previous cooking experience
- Worked in a similar setting would be an advantage
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently, showing creativity and passion
- Ability to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills

- Bank contract, flexible working hours
- Pay: £13.29 per hour
- 28 days annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata for part time)
