Responsibilities

• Prepare special diet meals in accordance with instructions from the care staff.
• Ensure a high level of service for all meal times.
• Complete all documentation relating to HACCP.
• Report any defects to equipment to the Home Manager.
• Ensure good quality and portion control.
• Assist Head Chef with four weekly menu planning.
• Undertake any ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for our residents.

What makes a Successful Candidate

• Must have previous cooking experience
• Worked in a similar setting would be an advantage
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently, showing creativity and passion
• Ability to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities
• Proficiency in food preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills

• Pay: £13.29 per hour
• 28 days annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata for part time)
