Responsibilities
- Caring and supporting our residents in their everyday journey with Aurem Care.
- Providing personal care, social support and creating heartwarming memories.
- Ensuring residents’ needs are met using our electronic care platform “Nourish”.
- Working within a committed team.
- Showing positive caring values in all aspects of practice.
- Supervising, guiding and supporting a group of care assistants.
- Assisting in the planning and monitoring of resident care.
- Supporting the care assistant induction programme and Core Training Programme.
- Performing ad‑hoc duties to support service delivery for residents.
What Makes a Successful Candidate
- Previous senior care experience.
- NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent training).
- Enthusiastic about providing care.
- Strong values and compassion for supporting people.
- Able to work well as part of a team and independently with creativity and passion.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow, prioritise and manage tasks and responsibilities.
- Engages well with residents, supporting their continuing interests and positive experiences.
What We Offer
- Full or part‑time contracts.
- Options of 22, 33, or 44 hours per week, including weekend and bank hours.
- Night shifts – Days 7 pm–7 am.
- Hourly rate: £12.81.
- 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays, pro‑rata for part‑time).
