Responsibilities

  • Caring and supporting our residents in their everyday journey with Aurem Care.
  • Providing personal care, social support and creating heartwarming memories.
  • Ensuring residents’ needs are met using our electronic care platform “Nourish”.
  • Working within a committed team.
  • Showing positive caring values in all aspects of practice.
  • Supervising, guiding and supporting a group of care assistants.
  • Assisting in the planning and monitoring of resident care.
  • Supporting the care assistant induction programme and Core Training Programme.
  • Performing ad‑hoc duties to support service delivery for residents.

What Makes a Successful Candidate

  • Previous senior care experience.
  • NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent training).
  • Enthusiastic about providing care.
  • Strong values and compassion for supporting people.
  • Able to work well as part of a team and independently with creativity and passion.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to follow, prioritise and manage tasks and responsibilities.
  • Engages well with residents, supporting their continuing interests and positive experiences.

  • Full or part‑time contracts.
  • Options of 22, 33, or 44 hours per week, including weekend and bank hours.
  • Night shifts – Days 7 pm–7 am.
  • Hourly rate: £12.81.
  • 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays, pro‑rata for part‑time).
