Your Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for bringing our values and vision to life through thoughtful content, strong relationships, and consistent brand presence. You'll manage our social platforms, support our homes to connect locally, and write with purpose to raise our voice and profile across the care sector. This is a Hybrid role and involves national travel across all of Aurem Homes based in the North and South Region, our Head Office is based in Reading.
Key Responsibilities
- Content & Storytelling: Create meaningful, people-centred content that highlights the work of our teams, the lives of our residents, and the positive impact we make across communities.
- Social Media Management: Plan, write and schedule engaging content across all social platforms, ensuring Aurem’s voice is consistent, caring and compelling.
- Community Engagement: Support our homes to build their presence locally — from events and initiatives to strong online profiles and community relationships.
- Press & Media: Write and distribute press releases to share good news stories, and build positive relationships with local press and media outlets.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all external communications align with Aurem’s tone of voice and visual identity — whether it’s online content, printed materials or media copy.
- Support for Growth: Help raise awareness of Aurem Care locally and regionally, supporting occupancy growth by building trust, visibility and reputation.

- Hybrid Role - Travel and work from home, Reading is the location of our Head Office
- Role requires national travel across our Homes, including overnight stays
