Senior Care Assistant (Days) – Westbank Care Home, 64 Sevenoaks Road, Borough Green, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN15 8AP.

Role involves supporting residents to remain active and independent, providing care, supervision, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Caring and supporting residents in their journey with Aurem Care.
  • Providing personal care, social support, and creating positive memories.
  • Ensuring residents\' needs are met through the Nourish electronic care platform.
  • Work within a committed team
  • Demonstrate positive caring values in all aspects of practice
  • Supervise, guide and support a group of care assistants
  • Assist in planning and monitoring resident care
  • Assist with care assistant induction programme and Core Training Programme
  • Any ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for residents

  • Must have previous senior care experience
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 desirable or willingness to obtain
  • Experience in medication management
  • Enthusiastic about providing care

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently, with creativity and passion

  • Ability to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities

  • Hours: 22, 33 or 44 per week, inclusive of weekends; bank hours also on offer
  • Working hours: Days 8am–8pm
  • Hourly rate: £13.50
