- Partner closely with Managing Director and boards to define role mandates, success profiles, and leadership requirements aligned with the value creation plan.
- Manage and challenge external executive search partners where appropriate; directly source and assess candidates where relevant.
- Leadership Assessment
- Design and conduct structured assessments of individual executives, including capability, track record, leadership style, potential, and risk factors.
- Integrate systematic referencing into the assessment process to validate experience, performance, and leadership impact in prior roles.
- Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations on leadership strengths, gaps, succession options, and role fit.
- Support high-stakes decision-making such as CEO appointments, successions, and post-acquisition leadership restructuring.
- Assess and enhance the effectiveness of leadership teams, including team dynamics, decision-making, and execution capability.
- Support the ongoing development of portfolio leadership teams through targeted interventions (e.g. onboarding support, executive coaching, team workshops, succession planning).
- Act as a sparring partner for CEOs and senior leaders, balancing support with honest, constructive challenge.
- Help professionalize leadership, people, and governance practices as companies scale or transform.
What you'll need
- 7+ years experience in executive search, leadership advisory, or senior in-house people/leadership roles within complex organizations.
- Background in a consultancy or Private Equity is an advantage.
- Proven track record working with C-level executives, boards, and investors.
- Excellent judgment in assessing people: sharp, structured, and evidence-based, not intuition-driven alone.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, honest messages—even when uncomfortable.
- High level of commercial acumen and understanding of value creation levers.
- Confident, resilient, and comfortable with ambiguity and pressure.
- Trusted advisor mindset combined with the courage to challenge constructively.
- Discreet, reliable, and highly professional.
