Aurelia Training Ltd, established in 1997, is a leading provider of operator training for construction plant, powered access platforms, industrial forklift trucks, lorry loaders, and slinger signallers. Our purpose-built, 8-acre training and test center is CPCS, NPORS, IPAF, ALLMI, and NVQ accredited, ensuring high-quality training solutions. Conveniently located in Kentford, near Newmarket, Suffolk, we are within easy reach of major transport links, including the M25 and M1/M6 junction. Role Description

This full-time Instructor role is based at Aurelia Training’s Kentford facility. The Instructor will deliver high-quality training and assessments in construction plant, industrial lifting, and powered access equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Preparing training materials
  • Delivering theoretical and practical training sessions
  • Conducting assessments
  • Maintaining accurate training records
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards
  • Providing excellent support to trainees throughout their learning process

Qualifications

  • Expertise in operating and instructing on construction plant, powered access platforms, and industrial forklift trucks
  • Strong presentation, training delivery, and assessment skills
  • Understanding of CPCS, NPORS, IPAF, ALLMI, or NVQ accreditation standards
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction and industrial sectors
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members
  • Experience in training or teaching is highly desirable
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in operator training and assessment are preferred
