Provide non-medical assistance to individuals in their homes, supporting daily living activities such as companionship, meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and minor housekeeping to promote independence and well-being.

Reports to: Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring their social and mental well-being.
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation according to dietary requirements and personal preferences.
  • Support clients with shopping, including grocery runs and errands, either independently or accompanying them.
  • Carry out light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
  • Encourage and assist clients in engaging in social activities and hobbies to reduce isolation.

Qualifications:

  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy is preferred.
  • A Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Completion of the Care Certificate is preferred.
  • Basic food hygiene and first aid training.
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required.

This is a Zero-Hours Contract, offering flexibility to work based on your availability. Working Conditions:
