Twilight | Registered Veterinary Nurse | Wards
Salary: £35,755 – £38,330 Dependent on qualifications
The role of a Twilight Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) is predominately a ward-based position and is vital in ensuring continuity of patient care between the day and night teams, supporting seamless communication and consistent standards of inpatient care. The post holder will work closely with our dedicated wards team, while also collaborating with the wider team including specialists, residents, interns, Senior RVNs, RVNs and Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs). It is essential that the post holder is driven and motivated to learn and develop their clinical nursing skills and knowledge to an advanced level. The role requires dedication and hard-work in order to ensure the delivery of the highest level of patient care.
The post holder will require strong communication skills to carry out their duties when interacting with the clinical team and the non-clinical staff, to include the front of house team, finance team, facilities and stock controller in order to promote the clinical flow of patients through all areas of the hospital. Communication with clients should be excellent to ensure that they are provided with all relevant information regarding the care for their pets.
The post holder will be included in our bank holiday rota, which is shared equitably across the team.
